This is the fourth consecutive National AGC Safety Award for Ronco and 19th in company history.
Ronco Construction accepted its fourth consecutive National AGC Safety Award for 2022 from the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Nebraska Building Chapter. It was presented at the Fall Social and Awards Dinner event held Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Lincoln, Neb.
“This award is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of Ronco’s employees to safety,” explains Mike Langford, Ronco’s Chief Operating Officer. “Safety is one of our core values; it’s a pillar to our project success. We work together —regardless of role or position — to watch out for our brothers and sisters on the job so we all go home to our loved ones.”
This commendation was awarded for achieving a zero-incident rate for 110,000 to 274,999 work hours. The AGC have awarded Ronco 19 National AGC Safety Awards throughout our 47-year history. Our safety program consists of six key elements: empower and motivate; formal policies; comfort reporting issues; regular effective communication; frequent safety training; support for behavior-based safety.
The National AGC Safety Awards (NASA) program has been an ongoing effort to offer AGC members an opportunity to evaluate their safety record. NASA compares an AGC member’s safety record with other AGC members according to the member size and construction type.
