Ronco Construction Recognized for Philanthropy and 50-Year Milestone

Greater Omaha Chamber Business Excellence Awards

Ronco Construction has been recognized with a 2026 Omaha Business Excellence Award from the Greater Omaha Chamber in philanthropy, while also being honored for its 50-year milestone — a moment that reflects not just longevity, but how the company shows up for its people, its partners and its community. The award celebration is being held at All Makes Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.

Since 1976, Ronco has built a reputation as a trusted commercial construction partner across the Midwest, taking on complex projects with a people-first mindset and a commitment to doing things the right way, day in and day out. That same mindset extends beyond the jobsite. Through its Ronco Gives philanthropic program, the company supports local organizations with time, talent and resources — not as a side effort, but as part of how it operates. Recognition through the Omaha Business Excellence Award program reflects that ongoing commitment to making an impact beyond construction.

“This recognition means a lot because it speaks to who we are at our core,” said Zak Olsen, president and CEO of Ronco Construction. “We’ve always believed our responsibility goes beyond the work we build. It’s about the impact we make — on our team, our partners and the community we’re proud to be part of. Hitting 50 years is a big milestone, but it’s the relationships behind it that matter most.”

In recent years, Ronco team members have logged thousands of volunteer hours, supported local nonprofits and stepped in wherever they can make a difference — from rebuilding community spaces to partnering with workforce development programs. As the company looks ahead, the focus stays the same: invest in people, build strong partnerships and keep finding ways to make an impact that lasts.
