Construction Underway on the New Downtown Omaha Public Library

Construction has started on the new downtown Omaha Public Library location at 1401 Jones.

The downtown Omaha Public Library is relocating to 1401 Jones Street, in the historic David Cole Creamery building originally constructed in 1912. The building is 42,000 SF and the library will be 30,000 SF using the top two floors. The new location will provide similar services as the original W. Dale Clark library including material checkout, meeting space and computer access.
