Blackstone Depot Project Underway

One of the three main projects of the Blackstone 3.0 development phase, the Blackstone Depot is underway.

The new (5) story building located at 38th and Harney Streets in the heart of the historic Blackstone neighborhood is beginning construction. The 53,000 square foot structure consists of a podium parking garage with 56 apartment units above. With a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, along with modern amenities and a classic design, the Depot is a continuation of the growth of this vibrant neighborhood. Greenslate Development and Clarity Development are co-developing the project with Alley Poyner Macchietto Architects leading the design team. The Blackstone Depot will be online for leasing by Summer of 2018.

Bennington Bank Transformation Complete

Bennington Bank Transformation Complete

The Renovated Main Branch in Bennington Nebraska was completed in May of 2017.

The multi-phased project transitioned the operational flow of the bank by relocating offices, teller lines, customer areas, and administrative support services to allow for the demands of the evolving bank industry and improved customer experience. Design work was completed by Jackson Jackson and Associates.

Steadfast Church Renovations Completed

Steadfast Church Renovations Completed

Finished in May of 2017, the Steadfast Church project was a complete renovation of the former Georgetown Club on 140th and Center.

The 20,000 SF building now features a large sanctuary, educational classrooms, offices and a reception hall. The Architectural Offices led the design team for the project which was completed in just 6 months time.

Breaking Ground on the Blackstone Knoll

The latest project in the historic Blackstone Neighborhood is the construction of a new 10,000 SF (2) story building on the corner of 39th and Farnam Street.

The building will feature ground level retail shops with spacious loft apartments on the second level. The unique building design by Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture features a mix of brick, metal panels, glazing, and EIFS for the exterior building elements. The project is schedule to be completed by spring of 2018 and is being developed by Green Slate Development.

Blackstone Union & Blackstone Station Garner Awards!

 

The Ronco built Blackstone Union & Blackstone Station projects received the Apartment Association of Nebraska 2016 Stars of Excellence Award for Property of the year!

 

Run down to revived in record time, both projects were completed in the summer of 2016 and feature 90 apartment units, enclosed garage parking, & 4,000 square feet of retail space.  The two buildings provide additional housing options for the growing Blackstone and UNMC neighborhoods.  Developed by Greenslate Development & Clarity Development, the Union & Station projects are the latest addition to the revitalization of the Historic Blackstone District.  The design team for the project was led by Alley Poyner Macchietto Architects.

South Hill Row Houses Transitioning to Phase 2

Ronco is nearing completion of the first 26 for-sale row houses and will commence construction on the final 10 townhomes in May.  

Once completed, these 3 story custom residences featuring penthouses, outdoor living spaces, and first-class amenities, will be the latest in housing options for the growing Little Italy Neighborhood.  The five buildings are configured for accessibility to the community spaces and amenities that promote the essentials of maintenance free urban living.  The modern aesthetic provides a streamlined design that seamlessly mixes the new structures with their historic surroundings. The project is being developed by Clarity Development and is designed by RDG Planning & Design.

Torva Fit Club Completed!

Torva Fit Club Completed!

Opening in March 2017, Torva is Omaha's newest boutique gym offering a variety of classes and training sessions that promote a sense of community while improving health and wellness.

The facility provides members specially designed areas for cycling, rowing, skiing, TRX, and strength training.  Located at 160th and Maple Street, this is the first of several Torva Fit Clubs planned for the Omaha Metro Area.

Hook & Lime Grand Opening!

Omaha’s newest taco and tequila destination is now open as of January 2017!  

Hook and Lime, a new 3,000 square foot tenant finish in the Slowdown Building is Ronco’s newest restaurant addition to the North Downtown Development (NoDo).  Using natural elements such as reclaimed wood, refurbished furniture, and eco-friendly finishes, Ronco delivered on the concept of an upscale yet warm and comfortable environment designed by BVH architects.

Colonial Hotel Historic Renovation

Historic Renovation of the Colonial Hotel has started

Originally built in 1910, the Colonial Hotel is being transformed into 39 unique apartment units.  Original features of the building are being restored to create a seamless transition of the old and new.  A ground-up link building is being constructed to connect the north and south building structures with a new elevator and stair system.  Once completed, the 40,000 square foot 6-story structure will feature spacious studio, one, and two bedroom units.  Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture is leading the design team with completion scheduled for fall of 2017.

New North Development, 30 Metropolitan Place

Ronco Construction has broken ground on the brand new north Omaha development 30 Metropolitan Place.

30 Metropolitan Place is a new 113,000 square foot 5 story structure consisting of 12,000 square feet of retail space, and 110 apartment units.  The building will have a mix of studio, one, and two bedroom apartment units, which will provide much needed housing options for the adjacent Metro Community College campus.  30 Metropolitan Place will feature a steel structure for the retail space on the first level, with wood framed construction on floors two through five for the multifamily component.  The exterior of the building will be clad with fiber cement panels giving the building a modern look. BVH Architectural firm is leading the design team.  Completion is scheduled for spring of 2018.
