Women in Construction (WIC) Week is an opportunity to challenge the stereotypes of the construction industry, amplify women's voices and show appreciation for one another and all they do to make construction better. It runs March 6-12, 2022.
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) was started in 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas with only 16 women and has grown to more than 115 chapters across the U.S. Their purpose is to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry and WIC is one of the many ways they do this.
